Methodology

Each check returns Pass, Warn, Fail or Not checked. “Not checked” means we lack data; it never counts as a pass.

Liquidity

• Fail: a large liquidity removal was seen, or liquidity is below 10% of its peak (peak at least $1,000).
• Warn: liquidity below $10,000.
• Pass: otherwise. LP lock/burn is a separate factor below.

LP lock / burn

Read-only checks on public Robinhood Chain RPC and published locker contracts. We never invent locker addresses; anything we cannot verify is Not checked.

• V2-style pools (Uniswap V2 / Pons V2): LP token balances at the burn addresses (0x0, 0xdead) and at known ERC-20 lockers. On Robinhood Chain the documented HoodLock ERC-20 locker is 0xd0f7…c32f (source: hoodlock.tech/docs/contracts).
• V3 / V4: position NFTs from the Uniswap V3 NonfungiblePositionManager (0x7399…e0d3) or V4 PositionManager (0x58da…4fa7). If the NFT is held by the HoodLock Liquidity Locker (0x91Aa…8e67) and an active lock id is present, we treat that position as locked and compare its in-range liquidity to the pool’s active liquidity (V3 liquidity() or V4 StateView 0xf333…673b).
• Pass: at least ~50% of LP / active liquidity is burned or in a known locker.
• Warn: most LP is held by the token creator or is not burned/locked in a known locker.
• Not checked: no pool, locker set unknown, V3/V4 positions not enumerable, or locked share could not be measured. GeckoTerminal’s locked_liquidity_percentage is used only as a labeled fallback when present.

Holders

• Fail: top 10 holders hold 50% or more, or the developer holds 20% or more.
• Warn: top 10 holders hold 25% or more.
• Pass: otherwise.

Sell check

When available, Zorvu runs a read-only simulation on a local fork of Robinhood Chain (never a real transaction): it buys the token in the token’s actual DEX pool (Uniswap V4 / V3 / V2), then sells it back, using eth_call-style execution on anvil. We record whether the sell reverts, and estimate buy/sell transfer tax in basis points (difference between pool-expected amounts and balances received).

• Fail: simulated sell reverts (honeypot / transfer lock), or measured transfer tax ≥ 1,000 bps (10%).
• Warn: sell succeeds but transfer tax is 300–999 bps (3–10%).
• Pass: sell succeeds with transfer tax under 300 bps.
• Fallback (labeled): if we have not simulated yet, we use a third-party honeypot flag when present, and say so in the reason.
• Not checked: no pool, zero on-chain liquidity, unsupported quote asset, or simulation error.

Pool swap fees and price impact are not counted as transfer tax. Simulations use the public Robinhood Chain RPC as the fork source and only simulated addresses—no trader, desk, or real wallet keys.

Deployer history

• Fail: 2 or more, or at least half, of the creator’s earlier launches later lost most of their liquidity.
• Warn: one such launch, or no earlier launches (no track record).
• Pass: none of the creator’s earlier launches lost most of their liquidity in our data.

Additional signals

• Ticker copy (Warn): shares a ticker with an earlier token.
• Automated scan: Fail if flagged as rug risk, Warn if marked for caution, Pass if no flags.

Stock Token lookalike

Compares the contract to the public Robinhood Stock Token registry (/rhj/assets). We use the term “Stock Tokens” as in Robinhood Chain terms. Zorvu is not affiliated with Robinhood.

• Pass: address is the official registry contract for that Stock Token (“Official Robinhood Stock Token”).
• Fail: ticker (or Robinhood Token–style name) matches an official Stock Token but the address is not the registry contract. Reason includes the official address.
• Name-only cases (e.g. a “Robinhood Token” name whose ticker is not in the registry): classified as a lookalike Fail only if both on-chain uid() and factory-creator checks fail. Otherwise we report the finding without a Fail.
• Not checked: no registry match and no Robinhood Token–style name signal.

Price vs official (Stock Tokens)

For official registry Stock Tokens only. Compares the latest desk DEX pool price to the public /rhj/prices/{symbol} quote (prefer tokenBid/tokenAsk mid; otherwise underlier bid/ask × registry multiplier).

• Warn: absolute deviation ≥ 2% (beyond typical arb for liquid Stock Token pools).
• Fail: absolute deviation ≥ 10% (material mispricing vs the official quote).
• Skip / Not checked: trading halt, quote older than ~120 seconds, or missing pool/official price.

Overall indicator

• High risk: flagged by the automated scan, or any Fail.
• Insufficient data: fewer than 2 of the 4 core checks could run (unless a Fail was found).
• Elevated risk: 2 or more Warns.
• Low risk: otherwise. This means no major warning signs were found, not that a token is risk-free.
